You might have watched Zac Efron’s YouTube series “Gym Time,” where he works out with professional athletes, models, and actors (names include Liza Koshy, Nina Dobrev, and the Victoria’s Secret Angels). He’s pretty jacked, if we do say so ourselves, but have you seen his younger brother?
Dylan Efron is a 27-year-old athlete, a California Polytechnic State University graduate, and a partner with Lululemon, among other brands. Dylan told Flylords Mag that he’s into “anything outdoors” like rock climbing, cycling, surfing, skiing, fly fishing, and hiking, and he’s especially focused on endurance racing.
Dylan recalled that he ran his first race in 2013 “sort of on a whim and fell in love with it immediately.” Since then, he said he’s won first place in his age group in a few triathlons — and first overall in the Hermosa Beach Triathlon in June 2018 — and competed in Ironman and Spartan races as well. Last year, Dylan ran the the 2018 Boston Marathon in 2:57. “My sights are set on running a sub 2:50 marathon next,” he said.
By the looks of Dylan’s Instagram feed, he’s not only an athlete but he’s quite the adventurer, too. Ahead, check out some clips and photos where he’s showing off his fitness and supertoned abs. (And, I really hope for a prerace ritual, Zac yells, “Wildcats!” and Dylan responds, “Get’cha head in the game!” A girl can only dream.)
